For example, room No. 101 is of the "Standard" category, but after a number of reasons, No. 101 needs to be made into the "Deluxe" category.
You can't just change the category in a room, because "statistics will suffer," especially if there is integration with online bookings.
You need to create the required category in the "Resource types" section (or make sure that you already have the required category).
It is necessary to end No. 101 as "Standard" and start No. 101 as "Deluxe" in the "Room Stock" section.
To do this, open No. 101 "Standard" and set the expiration date of the number in the "Advanced Settings" field.
It is necessary to end No. 101 as "Standard" and start No. 101 as "Deluxe" in the "Room Stock" section.
To do this, create a new number No. 101 and select the "Deluxe" category and set the start date of the number in the "Advanced Settings" field.
Thus, in the "Room stock" section there will be 2 rooms with the same serial number: "Standard" with the end date, "Deluxe" with the start date.
Both numbers will be displayed on the checkerboard for a while, but after several audits, the "Standard" number will no longer be displayed.
If a new room category has been introduced, then tariffs must be specified for this category.
NOTE!
TO SET THE START AND END DATES OF ROOMS, THERE SHOULD BE NO ARMOR OR SETTLEMENTS IN THE ROOMS!
BEFORE SETTING THE START AND END DATES, IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE ALL RESERVATIONS FROM SUCH ROOMS AND EVICT ALL GUESTS.
