Connecting the Book channel (zabroniryi.ru )

Description

Book it.<url> is an online booking platform for accommodation facilities, which is one of the top 5 hotel consolidators in Russia. The "Book.<url> allows you to increase the hotel's workload by attracting B2B clients.

Connecting the "Book" sales channel

Before starting the setup

1. Send an email to Shelter Technical Support at support@shelter.ru . Please provide the following information in the email:

   • Subject of the letter: Request to connect the "Book" sales channel (zabroniryu.ru ).

   • In the body of the email, specify the name and/or ID of your accommodation facility in the PMS system.

2. After receiving the email with the specified information, the technical support service will send a request to the Hotelbook service to receive the ID of the accommodation in the "Book" system.

3. Next, the technical support service will send the received ID to the accommodation facility by reply letter. In the future, this ID will be used to configure the channel.

Settings in the Shelter Cloud Web Office

After receiving the object ID in the Hotelbook system:

1. In the Shelter Cloud web office, go to the Channel Manager section.

   

2. In the list of available channels on the right side of the screen, find the Book channel.ru and click Add.

   

3. In the window that opens, enter the hotel's code (ID) received from Shelter's technical support service and click Add.

   

4. Book the channel.ru will appear in the list of connected channels. To start the exchange with the channel, turn the toggle switch to the right of the name to the On position.:

   

5. To start working with a channel, check the box to the left of its name. After that, the available actions will be displayed in the line.:

   

6. Click on the Channel Management option to go to the channel settings screen. Various actions are available on this page, including sending emails, downloading directories and bookings, as well as managing settings and restrictions.

7. To work with the channel, first of all you need to download the channel directories. To do this, click the Download Directories button in the upper panel on the right. If the download was successful, a corresponding message will appear.

   

8. After downloading the directories, compare the room categories. The categories downloaded from the Book channel are displayed on the left side of the screen.For example, on the right side of the screen, you need to select the categories created in Shelter Cloud that correspond to the uploaded categories. To select one of the available categories, in the Category in Shelter Cloud column, click the arrow button on the right and select a category from the list.

   

9. Next, you need to compare the tariffs. To do this, open the Tariffs tab and select the tariff created in Shelter CLOUD that corresponds to the uploaded tariff.

   

10. Go to the Shelter Cloud Settings tab and select the counterparty from the drop-down list that the accommodation facility is working with through the <url> sales channel.

    If the required counterparty is not in the list, create it as described in the article "Counterparty Directory".

    

11. Next, download the reservations using the Download Reservations button. This action is performed once, only when setting up the connection of the booking channel.

12. After receiving the message about the successful download of bookings, click the Upload All button to send the information to the Book sales channel.<url>. If the upload is successful, the corresponding notification will be displayed on the screen.

    The settings are completed, and the sales channel is ready to work.
