Tourist tax

Description

The tourist tax is a new tax paid by the hotel (not the guest). At the same time, it is not necessary to reflect the tour tax in the receipt, but it must be reflected in accounting documents (for example, in invoices).

A letter from the Department of Tax Policy of the Ministry of Finance, which outlines the main provisions regarding the tourist tax: link Some issues related to the calculation of this tax (see the letter) have not been disclosed.

It is necessary to pay the tax for the first time after the end of the 1st quarter of 2025.

Thus, the first thing the hotel needs to do is to start registering guests who belong to preferential categories, so that they do not have to pay tax later.

The reporting forms have not yet been developed and will be implemented in Shelter Cloud after approval.
