Description
Hotelbook is an online booking service for accommodation and travel services around the world. Registration in the service allows you to expand the coverage area and increase sales.
The Hotelbook service offers the following advantages:

work with accommodation facilities both in the Russian Federation and in other countries;

working with different types of accommodation facilities: hotels, hostels, guest houses, apartments, etc.

work with legal entities on a contractual basis.
Connecting the Hotelbook sales channel
Before starting the setup

Send an email to Shelter Technical Support at support@shelter.ru . Please provide the following information in the email:
• Subject of the letter: A request to connect the Hotelbook sales channel.
• In the body of the email, specify the name and/or ID of your accommodation facility in the PMS system.

After receiving the email with the specified information, the technical support service will send a request to the Hotelbook service to receive the ID of the accommodation facility in the Hotelbook system.

The technical Support service will send the received ID to the location. Next, this ID is used to configure the channel.
Settings in the Shelter Cloud Web Office
After receiving the object ID in the Hotelbook system:

In the Shelter Cloud web office, go to the Channel Manager section.

In the list of available channels on the right side of the screen, find the Hotelbook channel and click Add.

In the window that opens, enter the hotel's code (ID) received from Shelter's technical support service and click Add.

The Hotelbook channel will appear in the list of connected channels. To start the exchange with the channel, turn the toggle switch to the right of the name to the On position.:

To start working with a channel, check the box to the left of its name. After that, the available actions will be displayed in the line.:

Click on the optionChannel management to go to the channel settings screen. Various actions are available on this page, including sending emails, downloading directories and bookings, as well as managing settings and restrictions.

To work with the channel, you must first download the directories. To do this, click Download Directories in the upper panel on the right. If the download was successful, a corresponding message will appear.

After downloading the directories, compare the room categories. The categories uploaded from the Hotelbook channel are displayed on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, you must select the categories created in Shelter Cloud that correspond to the uploaded categories. To select one of the available categories, in the Category in Shelter Cloud column, click the arrow button on the right and select a category from the list.

Next, open the Tariffs tab and select the tariff created in Shelter CLOUD that corresponds to the uploaded tariff.

Go to the Shelter Cloud Settings tab and select the counterparty from the drop-down list that the accommodation facility is working with through the Hotelbook sales channel.
If the required counterparty is not in the list, create it as described in the article "Counterparty Directory".

Next, download the reservations using the Download Reservations button.

After receiving the message about the successful download of bookings, click the Upload All button to send the information to the Hotelbook sales channel. If the upload is successful, the corresponding notification will be displayed on the screen.
The settings are completed, and the sales channel is ready to work.
