Connecting the YandexTravel channel (Yandex.Travel)

Description

Service features

Before connecting

Send an email to technical support Yandex.Travel to the address Hotel.partners@support .yandex.ru with a request to enable the Shelter channel manager in the settings Yandex.Travel .

Adding a sales channel

  1. In the Shelter Cloud web office, go to the Channel Manager section.
  2. Find the channel in the list of available channels on the right side of the screen.Yandex Travel and click Add.

  3. In the window that opens, also click Add.

  4. To start the exchange with the channel, turn the toggle switch to the On position.

Authorization Settings

  1. To start working with a channel, check the box to the right of its name. After that, the available actions will be displayed in the line. Select Channel Management.

  2. In the window that opens, go to the Authorization Settings tab and click Connect. Log in to Yandex with Yandex ID. 

Hotel selection and food settings

  1. After successful authorization, go to the Select Hotel tab and select the desired one.

    If only one hotel is registered in your personal account, it will be selected automatically.

  2. Next, go to the Nutrition tab and match the types of meals configured in Shelter Cloud with the types of meals available in the booking system. Yandex.Travel .

Setting up a cancellation policy

  1. Open the Cancellation Policy tab, click Add, and add one or more cancellation options. For example, free cancellation in case of cancellation of the reservation more than 5 days before arrival and cancellation with deduction of the cost of one night's stay in case of cancellation of the reservation less than 4 days before arrival.

    Cancellation policies are required to be configured! The absence of configured cancellation policies leads to incorrect transmission of the availability of numbers in the channel. Yandex.Travel .

    There are 4 types of cancellation policy available: • As a percentage of the total cost of accommodation. For this type of cancellation, in the field How long before arrival can the guest cancel the reservation for free? the time is entered in hours or days; in the How much is charged to the guest for cancellation, enter a percentage of the room rate from 0 to 100, but not less than 1.

Setting up tariffs

  1. Go to the Rates tab.

  2. Compare the tariffs created in the office of the accommodation facility in the Shelter Cloud system with the tariffs available in the service Yandex.Travel .

  3. For each tariff, one of the previously created cancellation policies.

  4. If necessary, disable the transfer of the tariff to the channel. Yandex.Travel , Disable channel transmission in the column.

Completing the setup

  1. Make sure that all the settings are correct, and click the Download Directories button.

    Important: Reference books can only be uploaded once. After uploading, new categories and tariffs will be created in your Personal Account in the service. Yandex.Travel .

    If the location was previously used by the service Yandex.Travel , do not click the Unload Directories button, as this will lead to an error.

  2. After downloading the directories, go to your personal account in the service Yandex.Travel and check the uploaded room categories, rates, and cancellation policies.

  3. To upload tariffs, categories, and policies previously created in the service to the Shelter CLOUD system Yandex.Travel , click on the Download Directories button in the Channel Manager section > Yandex.Journeys.

  4. Compare the rates and room categories again and click the Unload All button. If the upload is successful, a message will appear on the screen. "Data has been uploaded to the channel successfully."

  5. Next, go to the Extranet in the service Yandex.Travel and open the Availability and Prices section. Wait for the room categories to have a green bar in the Room Status field. This may require updating the web page. The settings are completed.
