Description
The Akademservice booking system is an online system for booking accommodation facilities. It contains addresses, photos, and a map of the location of each accommodation facility included in the system.
Integration with the Akademservice system will expand the available sales channels, providing the accommodation facility with advantages such as working with accommodation facilities in the Russian Federation and other countries, the ability to transfer prices for each accommodation option, etc.
Before setting up the connection
Before proceeding to the configuration of integration with the Academservice system, it is necessary to perform a number of actions.

Send an email to Shelter technical support at support@shelter.ru . In the email, specify the following:
• The subject of the letter contains a request to connect the Akademservice sales channel.
• The name or ID of your accommodation facility in the PMS system.

After receiving the request, Shelter's technical support staff will contact the Akademservice sales channel to obtain the hotel's identifier (ID) in the channel's system. This ID is transmitted to the hotel and then used to set up the channel.
Setting up channel connection in the Shelter CLOUD web office
Follow these steps in the Shelter CLOUD web office:

In the left menu, go to the Channel Manager section:

In the list of available channels on the right side of the screen, find the Akademservice channel and click Add.

In the window that opens, enter the hotel's code (ID) received from Shelter technical support and click Add.

The Akademservice channel will appear in the list of connected channels. To start the exchange with the channel, turn the toggle switch to the On position.:

To start working with a channel, check the box to the right of its name. After that, the available actions will be displayed in the line.:

Tap Channel Management to go to the Channel settings screen. • On this screen, click Download Directories.
• After downloading the directories, match the room categories. The categories uploaded from the Akademservice channel are displayed on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, you must select the categories created in Shelter Cloud that correspond to the uploaded categories. To select one of the available categories, in the Category in Shelter Cloud column, click the arrow button on the right and select a category from the list.
• Next, open the Tariffs tab and select the tariff created in Shelter CLOUD that corresponds to the uploaded tariff.
• Go to the Shelter Cloud Settings tab and select the counterparty corresponding to the Akademservice channel from the drop-down list.
If the required counterparty is not in the list, create a new counterparty. For more information, see the article "Directory of counterparties".
• In addition, on this screen, on the Authorization Settings tab, you can change the hotel's code in the Akademservice system. • After all the settings are completed, click the Unload All button to transfer the data to the channel. If the upload was successful, the corresponding message will be displayed.

In addition, restrictions can be set for the channel. To do this, go back to the list of sales channels, check the box to the right of its name and clickLimitations.
Restrictions can only be edited for the associated categories and tariffs.

You can also delete the created sales channel in this section. To do this, go back to the list of sales channels, check the box to the right of its name and click Delete. The channel will be removed from the list of connected channels. The settings and directory mappings in Shelter Cloud will be deleted along with the channel. The exchange with the channel will be terminated. However, the data in the channel will not be deleted and the channel will continue to work.
