Configuring the Agoda Channel connection in Shelter CLOUD

Description

Agoda is an international online hotel booking system with its own customer support service. The platform offers hoteliers the following advantages:

Registration of the accommodation facility on the portal agoda.com

Before you can start connecting the Agoda sales channel in the Shelter Cloud web office, you must register your accommodation facility on the website agoda.com

Object placement

  1. Create a personal account in the Agoda partner extranet and register your accommodation facility.

  2. If your place is already registered on the portal booking.com , use the feature to import an object. To do this, enter the URL of your hotel on the website in the appropriate field. booking.com .

  3. When creating an accommodation facility directly on the portal agoda.com go through all the necessary steps, add the necessary data and images.

  4. At the stage of profile confirmation, select the appropriate type of settlement with the Agoda system.

    The system charges a commission of 15% of the booking price. Depending on the browser version, when filling in data from a computer, the choice of settlements may not be displayed. In order to ensure that you choose the right type of settlement, use your mobile device.

After the settings are completed and the activation is completed, the accommodation is moderated. A corresponding letter will be sent to the contact email address within 10 days of confirmation, and the accommodation will be published on the Agoda platform.

After receiving the confirmation, you can proceed to platform synchronization. agoda.com from the Shelter Cloud.

Connecting the sales channel in the Shelter Cloud web office

To add an Agoda sales channel to the list of connected channels:

  1. In the Shelter Cloud web office, go to the Channel Manager section.

  2. On the right side of the screen, in the list of Available Channels, find the Agoda line, hover over it and click Add.

  3. In the window that opens, enter the ID of your accommodation in the Agoda system. It is available in your personal account on the Agoda platform.

  4. The sales channel has been added to the list of connected channels. Next, you need to send a request to the Agoda service by mail bdconnectivity@agoda.com about connecting to the Shelter Cloud service.

    The request must contain the following information:

    Subject: Connecting an accommodation facility to the Frontdesk24 service.

    In the body of the email: A connection request specifying the ID of your accommodation facility in the Agoda service.

    Important! It is recommended to send the request in English.

Setting up the Agoda Sales channel

Before setting up the Agoda sales channel in the Shelter Cloud web office, it is recommended to add a counterparty corresponding to the channel and a contract with it. To set up a sales channel booking.com in the Shelter Cloud web office:

  1. Select the Agoda channel from the list of connected channels, click the check mark in the window to the left of the channel name and select the Channel Management option.

  2. On the tab that opens, click Download Directories.

  3. After downloading, the directories will be displayed in the tabsCategories and Rates. On the Categories tab, match the room categories. The categories uploaded from the Agoda channel are displayed on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, you must select the categories created in Shelter Cloud that correspond to the uploaded ones. To select one of the available categories, in the Category in Shelter Cloud column, click the arrow button on the right and select a category from the list.

  4. Next, you need to compare the rates on the tabPricing plans.

  5. After comparing the categories and tariffs, go to the Shelter CLOUD Settings tab and specifyThe counterparty andAn agreement that corresponds to a customized sales channel.

  6. If the hotel has restrictions on the length of stay, set them as described in the article Setting up restrictions for uploading to sales channels.

  7. To complete the connection, click Upload All in the Channel Management section.

The setup is complete, and the sales channel is ready to work.
